Use
-Ideal for bonding & rendering exterior and interior insulation systems, such as wood-fiber panels, cork & hemp panels.
-As undercoat (filling cracks & holes) for decorative plasters & limewash finishes.
-Can also be used as a finishing plaster/ decorative coating & rendering.
Surfaces
Use on sound, stable & non-decaying substrates: on hydrated and hydraulic natural lime-based renders and plasters, pre-mixed natural hydraulic lime-based renders & mortars, mortars (concrete, cement, etc.) and old mineral renders/ plasters.
Do not use on: drywall- old paint - synthetic coatings - wood
Finish: Medium grain textured appearance (granulometry≈ 0.8mm)

Frequently Asked Questions
No, limewash paints are sensitive to extreme cold and heat. The ideal temperature for use is between 7 and 27° C. And you can not apply lime coat when raining, make sure the weather forecast does not call for rain in the 48 hours following application.
For Patina Opaque wait a minimum of 6-8 hours between coats.Respect stipulated drying times. It is imperative to have a fully dry surface before applying the next coat if needed.
Cosi paint for Patina finish is 97% natural ingredients, virtually VOC FREE (less than 0.75gr/l.)
For Patina finish you need a limewash brush.
Cosi Paint for Patina finish can be used in interior and exterior.
You will receive all products you need to achieve the finish: COSI paint, quantity of pigment required for the chosen colour and quantity of primer & paint, how-to guide and technical sheet.
If you have added tools to your order, they will come in your package too.
For Patina Light you need only one coat of paint.
For Patina Opaque 2 coats are required and we recommend to tint both.
